How do i add grip to my high tops?

At basketball practice tonight, we are having a skills challenge, its a timed course, it would be a little better if i had better grip to the floor on my high tops

Depending on the quality of your shoes and their condition and also the quality of the bball court surface, then dust will build up on the botttom of your shoe. So use you hand to wipe it off. Many many ballers do that. its quick and effective. otherwise. you;d have to try to clean them with water spray like a hose but thats kinda stupid. if there is gum or sum sticky crap on the bottom then you gotta pick that off. but otherwise what else can ya do mate. not a whole heap. could get better shoes or it may be coz of the court.
